Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre

The NMACC is Nita Ambani's vision for the promotion and preservation of Indian arts. The centre has a 250-seat studio theatre, a 150-seat experimental theatre, and a three-story art gallery.

The Grand Theatre is the NMACC's prized possession. The theater's perfect sound isolation and haze machines give the feeling of entering a holy place. A lotus-shaped, programmable ceiling uses 8,400 Swarovski crystals to cast and change colours.

The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, which was originally designed by David Rockwell, served as inspiration for the 2000-seat theatre, one of the biggest in India. The auditorium's broader curve and the steeper rake, however, are modifications that are exclusive to India.

The Studio Theatre and The Cube are the two smaller theatres that can house 250 and 125 guests, respectively, and offer more individualised, personal experiences.
