Daisy Shah is an Indian actress, model, and dancer. She is most known for her work in Hindi and Kannada films. She formerly worked as a choreographer's assistant, Ganesh Acharya.
Daisy Shah first break came when she was cast in the lead role in the Kannada film Bhadra in 2011.
Daisy Shah later starred alongside Salman Khan in the Bollywood film Jai Ho, which was released in 2014. She was a part of Hate Story 3 in 2015.
Daisy Shah was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, but comes from a Gujarati family. She worked as a choreographer's assistant in films such as Zameen and Khakee.
Daisy Shah subsequently began modelling, taking part in photo shoots and print advertisements. For the film Chingari, Kannada filmmaker Harsha approached her.
In the Kannada remake of Bodyguard, Daisy Shah plays Ammu. She later went on to star in two item songs in Kannada films Bachchan and Bloody Isshq.
Daisy Shah also appeared in the Hindi film Khuda Kasam, in which she sang an item song ("Neeli Lugadi") alongside Sunny Deol and Tabu.
Daisy Shah also appeared as a background dancer in Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein. When Shah was in 10th grade, she received the Miss Photogenic prize in a local mall's MS Dombivli event.
Daisy Shah went to Mumbai's Khalsa College to study art. She went on to become a model and worked for three years under Ganesh Acharya before landing roles in Kannada films. Race 3 is her most recent film.
