Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (also known as Khatron Ke Khiladi) is an Indian Hindi-language stunt-based reality television programme modelled on the American series Fear Factor. Fear Factor India was first broadcast on Sony TV before being sold to Colors TV and relaunched as Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi on July 21, 2008. The show is currently hosted by Rohit Shetty and will enter its 12th season in June 2022. It is directed by Nishant Nayak, Aritri Mukherjee, Taranjiet Singh Namdhari and is shot in South Africa. It is produced by Deepak Dhar, Joy Bhattacharya, Terja Beney under the banner of Endemol Production Company.

Khatron Ke Khiladi is inspired by the hit American Reality TV Show Fear Factor where contestants have to perform dangerous stunts, under supervision. The contestant who fails to complete the task successfully and in the least amount of time is eliminated from the show. The show has been a hit for the past 14 years and is one of the most watched Reality TV shows in India, second only to Bigg Boss. The show has been won by some very famous celebrities like Shabir Alhuwalia, Siddharth Shukla and Shantanu Maheshwari, to name a few. 

Khatron Ke Khiladi is all set to return for its 12th season in June 2022 and has some well-known contestants like Rubina Dilaik, Munawar Faruqui, Jannat Zubair Rahmani, Chetna Pande and Mr. Faisu, to name a few.
