Kasauti Zindagi Ki 2 was an Indian Hindi Language television show that ran on Star Plus from September 25, 2018, to October 3, 2020. It was produced under the banner of Balaji Telefilms. Producer Ekta Kapoor brings the nostalgia again by creative season 2 of Kasauti Zindagi Ki. The plot of the story revolves around Anurag Basu and Prerna Sharma are soulmates meant to be together, they have to overcome many obstacles in order to be together. The plot is set in Kolkata and centers on Anurag and Prerna, who both attend the same university. Fate keeps drawing the two of them together, and as they get to know one another, they gradually develop a bond of friendship, trust, and understanding. Anurag begins to draw Prerna's attention.

Actors like Shubhaavi Choksey who played the role of Mohini Basu(Anurag’s Mother), Pooja Banerjee who played the role of Nivedita Basu(Anurag’s Sister), and Sahil Anand who played the role of Anupam Sengupta(Anurag’s Brother-in-law) gave remarkable performances in this show. Actress Urvashi Dholakiya gained a lot of fame from Kasauti Zindagi Ki Season 1 for the role of Komolika.

Komolia and Rishab Bajaj are also integral parts of this story. Komolika falls for Anurag and Rishab falls for Prerna. They both create obstacles in Anurag and Prerna’s life, but they fail to do so. They end up living Happily together, because of their fate’s connection and unconditional love, no one can take them apart.
