Indian medical drama tv series Sanjivani aired on Star Plus from 12 August 2019 to 13 March 2020. Surbhi Chandna, Namit Khanna, Mohnish Bahl, Gurdip Punjj, and Gaurav Chopra were the stars of this Alchemy Films-produced show. The 2002 television series of the same title has been revived as Sanjivani.

The story revolves around the relationships between doctors Ishani Arora and Siddhant "Sid" Mathur, two polar opposites who deal with their affinity to one another while navigating the highs and lows of their lives and careers at Sanjivani Hospital.

In contrast to Dr Siddhant "Sid" Mathur, who is easygoing and flirtatious, Dr Ishani Arora is morally upright, ethical, and responsible. Sid believes in finishing the task, whereas Ishani believes in adhering to norms and regulations. The two first dislike one another since they are unable to comprehend one another's views.

A bond develops between Ishani and Sid as they work together. Sometimes misunderstandings cause the two to part ways, but they eventually reconcile. Slowly, the two begin to feel something for one another and admit it.

Unmarried Asha becomes pregnant with Aman's child. Aman flees because he can't manage the circumstance. Sid pretends to be Asha's husband in order to safeguard her unborn child. Ishani is heartbroken but eventually discovers the truth.

Under the direction of Vardhan, who intends to use Sid to exact revenge on Shashank, Asha hatches a way of keeping Sid and Ishani apart. Ishani looks into the situation with Rahil's assistance and makes an effort to inform Sid of Asha's plans. Sid doesn't trust her at first, but he ultimately finds out the truth. Sid humiliates Asha in front of the workers in a fit of rage.

Ishani is wounded while defending Asha and the unborn child. She had surgery, but afterwards, she falls into a coma. Ishani heals after many days as Asha, who is guilty, admits her wrongdoings, refuses to participate in Vardhan's intentions, and asks for forgiveness.

The Sanjivani staff is devastated when Dr Shashank has an accident and passes away. Sid discovers that Shashank is his father. Later, Sid and Ishani reveal Vardhan, leading to his incarceration.

Sid and Ishani decide to get married. Ishani's family threatens Sid with harm if he doesn't keep away from her. Ishani is devastated when Sid doesn't show up. There is an end to Sanjivani.

3 years later, when Navratan Singh purchases Sanjivani, it is able to reopen. Ishani no longer has the desire to live. Ishani is inspired by Navratan to take another chance on life. Ishani observes Sid to be unconscious. She is brought back to her past and becomes numbed. Sid regains consciousness, but his memory is only partially intact. He is operated on by Ishani, and he remembers everything.

Ishani's family is revealed by Sid, who also explains why he was late for the wedding. Ishani is astonished afterwards. The show concludes with Ishani and Sid being reunited by Navratan.
