Along with Gayathrie and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sethupathi attended the event. On June 15, 2021, Sethupathi met with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and gave a donation of Rs. 25 lakhs to the Corona relief fund.
