Farah Khan’s Affairs and Relationships

Farah Khan and Akashdeep Saigal

Actor Aakashhdeep Saigal and director-turned-choreographer Farah Khan dated for almost two years before calling it quits. Akashdeep participated in Farah Khan's Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 1 dance reality competition as a competitor.

After learning that he and his choreographer Bindi Khare would not be returning to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the celebrity dance competition on Sony TV, Akashdeep Sehgal caused quite a commotion on the sets. Shilpa Shetty was even told by him that she was unqualified to judge a dance competition and that she was constantly following the technical director Sandip Soparrkar's instructions on how to score each duo.

Their (Farah, Sanjay, and Shilpa's) inability to judge dance forms was killing my spirit. I voiced my discouragement at the situation. Since Farah was on the program, I should not have joined it, but I was hoping she wouldn't have any leftover baggage from our relationship.

Farah Khan tweeted, Please Slap Akashdeep Saigal (Skye) on #BB5 from me. One is mainly due to him. He doesn't care about ladies.

Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder

On the Main Hoon Na set is where it all began. Shirish admitted that his primary motivation for agreeing to work for far less money editing Farah Khan's directorial debut, Main Hoon Na, was his long-standing crush on the actress. Shirish was silent because he saw no hope, and Farah was unaware of his feelings. Farah experienced something similar much later. She had no time for love because she was so preoccupied with her movies. Shirish's intelligence became apparent to her over time, and this is what first drew her to him.

Finally, Shirish revealed his feelings to Farah at a party while drunk. Farah Khan shared these sentiments, thus the two began dating. Women frequently enquire of men about the prospects of their relationship. It was the opposite of Farah and Shirish. Shirish has a severe fear of broken hearts. He therefore simply instructed Farah Khan to consider her options and only schedule a meeting if she felt that their relationship had potential.

Farah described her experience on Simi Grewal's show and remarked, He replied, dear, get out if you don't want to get married! I don't want to spend my time only seeing you. We will move forward if you are sincere and we decide to get married. Shirish sought a commitment from Farah because he was terrified of getting brokenhearted. After giving it some thought, Farah decided to marry Shirish. Gauri Khan was the one who initially learned about these lovers. Shirish was presented to everyone at Shahrukh's house during the Main Hoon Na victory party by Farah.

After Karan gave Farah a Tarot card reading and assured her how wonderful her life would be with Shirish, the two of them began making wedding plans in 2004. The first wedding was a legally binding union, and then there was a South Indian ceremony where Shahrukh and Gauri performed Farah's kanyadan before the nikah. The couple welcomed their triplets in 2008, giving them the names Diva, Anya, and Czar.

Farah Khan’s Movies and Career

Farah Khan was enrolled in St. Xavier's College in Bombay to study sociology at the time the Thriller music video by Michael Jackson was made public. Although she had never danced before, she was so inspired that it soon became her profession. She formed a dancing group and essentially taught herself how to dance. Farah Khan took over the choreography for the movie Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar when Saroj Khan left. The movies kept coming after that. On the sets of Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, she first met actor Shahrukh Khan, with whom she has since been a friend and begun working together.

Farah Khan’s First Movie as a Choreographer Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander (1992)

The movie explores the lives of working-class brothers Sanjaylal and Ratanlal Sharma, who reside in the beautiful college town of Dehradun. Ratan is a committed student and a diligent worker, whereas Sanjay is a slacker who frequently causes mischief. The three major public schools in the neighborhood are fiercely competitive, and after Ratan loses in a bicycle race, the boys' father swears to restore the boys' honor.

Mansoor Khan directed and co-wrote the 1992 coming-of-age sports movie Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar which was also produced and co-written by Nasir Hussain. Aamir Khan, Ayesha Jhulka, Deepak Tijori, Pooja Bedi, Mamik Singh, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda all act in the movie, while Aamir's brother Faisal Khan also makes a cameo. It featured Jatin Lalit's song. Two Filmfare Awards were given to it, including Best Film.

Virasat (1997)

Shakti makes a trip back home and plans to do so soon. But when his relatives' feud causes his hamlet to fall victim to a feudal war, he is compelled to carry on his father's legacy, even at the expense of his own ambitions.

The 1997 Indian action drama movie Virasat, sometimes known as Inheritance, was directed by Priyadarshan. After the Tamil film Thevar Magan's commercial success, Kamal Haasan remade the plot. The film was produced by Mushir and Riaz. Anil Kapoor, Tabu, Amrish Puri, Pooja Batra, Milind Gunaji, and Govind Namdeo are among its cast members. Anu Malik and S. P. Venkatesh created the music, with the former writing the songs and the latter the score. Priyadarshan's comeback in Hindi cinema was signified by the movie.

Farah Khan won her First Filmfare award for Best Choreography in 1997 for the song  Dhol Bajane Laga in the movie Virasat.

Farah Khan’s First Movie as Director Main Hoon Na (2004)

Major Ram has been tasked with protecting Project Milap, a precarious peace endeavor with Pakistan, and also looking out for the daughter of General Bakshi, the commander in charge of Project Milap. He is required to pose as a student at St. Paul's College in Darjeeling as part of the assignment. Major Ram struggles to fit in with the trendy college students as mature students.

Main Hoon Na was written and directed by Farah Khan in her feature film debut. Shah Rukh Khan, Sunil Shetty, Amrita Rao, Sushmita Sen, and Zayed Khan feature in the movie, which centers on Ram Sharma, an Indian soldier who is deployed undercover as a college student to defend a general's daughter from a perilous rogue soldier.

Farah Khan won the Best Director Award for Main Hoon Na in IIFA Awards, Zee Cine Awards, and Global Indian Film Awards.

Indian Idol (Tv Show) (Season 1) (2004)

The contestant pool is narrowed down by an expert judging panel before the audience voting rounds, which feature a worldwide search for the nation's top vocalists. Indian Idol is a part of the Indian Idol series and is the Pop Idol format in the Indian Hindi language. Since 2004, Sony Entertainment Television has broadcast it.

Farah Khan, Sonu Nigam, and Anu Malik were the judges in Season 1.

Aman Verma and Mini Mathur were the hosts of the Season 1 of the Indian Idol Show.

Abhijeet Sawant was the winner of the show.

Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega (Tv Show ) ( 2009)

The popular American reality TV talent program 30 Seconds to Fame, in which contestants showcase their individual talents in hopes of winning financial prizes, served as the inspiration for Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. To win the cash award, a contestant must perform for one minute without being eliminated by the crowd or judges. Both the judges and the audience have the power to remove a contestant, while the judges have the power of veto to reinstate a contestant who has been disqualified. They are given an electronic disapproval voting mechanism to cast their vote.

The contestant is eliminated if their vote is rejected by more than 60% of the audience, more than 60% of the judges, or both judges. Two contestants are chosen by the judges at the conclusion of each show to perform once more and compete for a larger prize in the weekly finale episode on Friday.

An Indian variety entertainment reality show called Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega aired on Sony Entertainment Television during the week. It debuted on May 25, 2009. The show hosts were Mona Singh and Vishal Malhotra. The show’s judges for its first season were Farah Khan and Anu Malik.

Om Shanti Om (2007)

A 1970s extra for a movie Bollywood is in love with a current superstar. She does, however, love a cunning producer, but when she stands in the way of his objectives because she is in the way of his thirst for power and money, he decides to kill her.

In 2007, Farah Khan wrote and directed the romantic thriller Om Shanti Om. Shah Rukh Khan plays Om Makhija, a struggling young film artist in 1977 who falls in love with secretly married film actress Shanti Kashyap, played by debutante Deepika Padukone. The story spans three decades. Arjun Rampal plays Mukesh Mehra, the woman's husband and a producer of movies, who betrays her and kills her in a fire.

It got a record of 12 nominations for the 53rd Filmfare Awards, taking home prizes for Best Female Debut and Best Special Effects in addition to the National Film Award for Best Production Design.

One of the many reasons Deewangi Deewangi from Om Shanti Om is special is that it brought together virtually every superstar from different generations to groove together in the group song. There were 31 actors in the song. This song was choreographed by Farah Khan.

Dil Bechara (2020)

Manny and Kizie have completely different personalities, and their struggle with cancer is the only thing that unites them. They feel love slowly engulf them, but they have no idea what fate has in store for them.

Dil Bechara is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language coming-of-age romantic film that was written by Shashank Khaitan and Suprotim Sengupta. It was directed by Mukesh Chhabra on his directorial debut and was made by Fox Star Studios.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi play terminal cancer patients in the 2014 American film adaption of John Green's 2012 novel The Fault in Our Stars. Sushant Singh Rajput made an unexpected posthumous appearance in the movie after passing away on June 14, 2020 (one month before the movie's release).

Farah Khan won the Filmfare award for Best Choreography in 2020 for the song Dil Bechara in the movie Dil Bechara.
