Actress Celina Jaitly, from India, is well-known for her roles in Hindi movies. She was raised in a multicultural environment after moving to Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India, on November 24, 1981. Her mother, Meeta, is an Afghan Hindu and a nurse in the Indian Army, while her father, Colonel V. K. Jaitly, is a Punjabi Hindu. One of Celina's brothers is a soldier as well. She had always wanted to join the military, either as a pilot or a doctor, like her father.

Celina's father frequently relocated to various towns and cities throughout India, so she spent a large portion of her childhood moving around. 

After completing her studies, Celina briefly worked as a marketing executive in a cell phone company in Kolkata, West Bengal. However, her passion for the entertainment industry led her to pursue a career in acting. In 2001, she won the title of Femina Miss India and went on to represent India in the Miss Universe 2001 pageant, where she achieved the position of 4th runner-up. Celina Jaitly is married to Peter Haag, an Austrian entrepreneur, and hotelier. They welcomed twin boys in March 2012. Celina Jaitly began her career with a marketing job at a mobile phone company in Kolkata before deciding to participate in a local beauty contest. She won the title of Femina Miss India in 2001 and went on to represent India at the Miss Universe 2001 contest, where she finished as the 4th runner-up.

 In 2001, Celina appeared in Jazzy B's popular music video for Oh Kehri and also featured in music videos for Bombay Vikings. Her film debut came in 2003 with Feroz Khan's Janasheen, which achieved moderate success at the Indian box office. However, her next film, Khel, is opposite Sunny Deol.

 In 2005, Celina played the role of Preeti, an air hostess, in Khalid Mohamed's film Silsiilay, which garnered positive reviews. She followed this with a role in the successful comedy film No Entry in 2005. Golmaal Returns

PlayThe comedy movie Golmaal Returns was produced and directed by Rohit Shetty in 2008. It is the second film in the Golmaal series and is a remake of Pheka Pheki, a 1989 Marathi movie that was itself influenced by Aaj Ki Taaza Khabar, a 1973 Hindi movie. Gopal saves Meera (Celina Jaitly), an attractive young woman, from some dangerous thugs one night on his way home from work. Circumstances led them to spend the night on a friend's yacht.

 Khel – No Ordinary Game

Yusuf Khan directed the 2003 Indian Hindi action movie Khel - No Ordinary Game. The lead actors in the film are Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, and Celina Jaitly. Additionally, it serves as the former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja's Bollywood debut. The film was released on October 3, 2003.

The protagonist of the tale is Dev Mallya, a successful industrialist who develops feelings for Saanjh Batra and plans to wed her. Dev seeks to create a comfortable environment for Mrs. Kiran Batra and her daughter by hiring Saanjh to renovate his opulent mansion. But when Dev learns that Saanjh has feelings for his friend Rohan Potdar, he starts to feel uneasy. The situation worsens when Rohan is arrested, tried, and sentenced to life imprisonment for murder. This heartbreaking news leads Saanjh to eventually agree to marry Dev.

Everything seems perfect in Dev's world until Assistant Commissioner of Police Officer Rajveer Scindia reopens Rohan Potdar's case, suspecting a conspiracy against him. This development challenges the stability of Dev and Saanjh's relationship and introduces a new layer of intrigue and suspense to the story.

Ashish Chaudhary, Shreyas Talpade, Javed Jaffrey, Vatsal Seth, Celina Jaitly, Neha Dhupia, Riya Sen, Sayali Bhagat, and Johnny Lever all appear in the 2009 Indian comedy-drama Paying Guests. Under the Mukta Arts banner of Subhash Ghai, the movie is directed by Paritosh Painter. It centers on a group of close friends who reside in Pattaya, Thailand. A comedy, Paying Guests is Sailesh Dey's translation of his Bengali play Joymakali Boarding into Hindi.
