Renu Paswan was born in Muzzaffarnarg, Bihar in India. 

Renu Paswan completed  her masters at the University of Pune and joined as a management professional in a  top IT MNC. 

Renu Paswan wrote her first book in 2018 titled 'Live To Inspire'  where she talks about the story of her life and her struggles. 

After the success of ger book, Renu Paswan founded the foundation 'Live to Inspire" which plans strategies for rural women who want to take up a livelihood, like handicraft and other art products, and then she helps them create indigenous products, which can be sold commercially.

Renu Paswan  is also an active participant in activities related to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, including Gender Equality 

Renu Paswan has been awarded the title “India’s First Inspiration Preneur” in 2019 at the World Economic Forum. 

Renu Paswan is part of the “United Nations-Woman Forum”. 

Renu Paswan had been invited to talk about her journey in many TEDx events across the world like in cities like Bangalore, Pune, and London. 

Renu  Paswan has also conducted several seminars for educational institutions such as India Today Institute for Journalism, for bodies such as the All India SCST Federation, various NGOs, and corporates. 

Renu Paswan has received several awards for her contribution to the upliftment of women and society, some of them including ‘Iconic Women of the Year’, ‘Women of Substance’, ‘India’s Achievers Award’, ‘She The Change’, ‘Nari Shakti Ko Pranam’, and many more..

Renu  Paswan's foundation works with her village community back in Bihar where they choose 11 female members from each block and amenities are provided so they can start their own businesses.
