Dangal TV broadcast the Indian drama series Prem Bandhan from 30 November 2020 to 9 June 2021. It is directed by Vikram Ghai and produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms. Starring Chhavi Pandey and Manit Joura in lead roles, it also stars Monica Khanna, Ariah Agarwal, Utkarsha Naik, and Vineet Kumar in recurring roles.

At her father's urging, Janki consents to a prearranged marriage. She finds out that the groom is intellectually handicapped and is at an eight-year-old level on their wedding night. Janki is aware that she was duped into wedding him by her in-laws, but she is hesitant to tell her father for fear of endangering his health. She finds her husband's nature to be infantile. Despite a rough beginning to their union, Janki and Harsh become closer.

When Janki's brother hears about the circumstance, he urges Janki to go back to his house. Janki seeks a doctor to assist Harsh since she wants them to be together. Despite their apparent sympathy, Janki starts to suspect that somebody in the family just doesn't want Harsh to get better. Harsh sustains a brain injury, and Janki is held accountable.

She wishes to shield Harsh from Savita, his stepmother, who killed his grandfather to inherit his land for herself and her kids and is the cause of his mental instability. Only telling Savita, Janki chooses to spend their three-month anniversary in Darbhanga with Harsh. On the way, they are in an accident, but they both survive. Janki offers one of her kidneys to help Harsh, who needs a kidney donation. Harsh wakes up with no recollection of the previous five years and is unable to identify Janki. He recalls his love for Shweta, and at first, Janki does not want to put a barrier between them. On Rangili's advice, she declines to sign the divorce documents that her father-in-law has sent and makes the decision to protect Harsh from Shweta and Savita.

When Janki returns home, Shweta tries to kill Harsh, but her father-in-law tries to stop her. Because she saved his life, Harsh dissuades Shweta from hitting Janki. Shekhar and his sister-in-law are supporters of Janki. Since his family wants them to get married, Savita devises a plan to make it seem like Harsh had slept with Shweta in order to coerce him into marrying her.

Harsh starts to feel something for Janki. Shweta's name is substituted for Janki's on a traditional invitation at Mahashivratri. Harsh interrupts Janki as her in-laws want her to leave the house. Her father-in-law gets her jailed when she prepares the mehndi but Savita poisons it and Janki is held accountable. Janki is bailed out by Shekhar; nevertheless, she refuses to go back home and is taken captive by a lender who threatens to sell her if Savita's debt is not paid.

Sweta is knocked unconscious by Janki, who then disguises herself and marries Harsh to prevent their wedding. Harsh believes she wed him for financial gain, but intervenes to stop Shweta from killing her. Harsh forces Janki to leave after learning that Rajesh has fake documents claiming that she wed him for financial gain. As she departs, she destroys the documents.

When Janki visits the facility where Harsh was conceived, a nurse informs her concerning Harsh and the motivation behind Savita's desire to have him killed. Rajesh and Savita attack her, and bury her after putting her in a box.

Harsh is still in love with Janki six months later, despite being compelled to wed Shweta. To Jaya Kapoor, the owner of J Industries, Rajesh has mortgaged the resort. They encounter Jaya, who resembles Janki; Akshay saved Janki, and she now works with him to exact revenge on Savita and Rajesh. The family is reunited once Savita and Rajesh realise their mistakes.
