Fukrey 3 is a Hindi comedy movie sequel to the Fukrey franchise starring Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha, Manjot Singh, and Pankaj Tripathi. Fukrey 3 is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. and directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba.
In Fukrey 3, the protagonists Hunny, Choocha, and Lali run a failing store, while antagonist Bholi Punjaban, backed by corrupt businessman Dhingra, stands for election. The discovery of a fuel-like substance made from Hunny's sweat and Choocha's urine disrupts Bholi's plans and exposes Dhingra's water supply monopoly. Choocha wins the election, and the stage is set for a potential sequel.

Following the sequel's events, Fukrey 3 sees the friends Hunny, Choocha, and Lali running a run-down store in Delhi, given to them by the government. Amid this, they cross paths with the ambitious Bholi Panjabban, who aims to win the Water Section election with the backing of Dhingra, a corrupt water supplier.
As Bholi promises the eradication of the Water Mafia and free water for all during her campaign, she counters the growing popularity of Choocha among the public. She sends Choocha and the group to a diamond mine in South Africa, hoping to benefit from Choocha's ability to predict the future (Deja-Choo).
However, an unexpected turn of events leads Choocha to find and swallow a diamond. Simultaneously, Hunny and Choocha discover they can produce a fuel-like substance due to an unusual reaction between Hunny's sweat and Choocha's urine, where the ingested diamond results in hydrogen and carbon.
Upon returning to India, the friends leverage this newfound ability to promise cheap fuel, gaining public support in the election process. This incites a series of events filled with deceit, kidnapping, power struggles, and a rescue mission, with Bholi, Dhingra, and Shinda (the diamond mine owner) all playing instrumental roles.
Amid all these high-energy escapades, Choocha manages to win the election by a landslide. However, his marriage to Bholi runs into obstacles. The film ends with a cliffhanger as the Fuel Minister of Bangalore invites the friends to the city, hinting at the adventures to unfold in the next sequel.
The first look of the Fukrey 3 was released on 1 September 2023 and the trailer of the movie is released on 5th September 2023. The movie is all set to be released on 28th September 2023.
Fukrey 3 is an exciting rollercoaster ride into the lives of our beloved miscreants Hunny (Pulkit Samrat), Choocha (Varun Sharma), Lali (Manjot Singh), and Panditji (Pankaj Tripathi). With Richa Chadha back as the formidable Bholi Punjaban, the film sets the premise of a wild political match-up with unexpected humorous turns.
The pivotal performances in this film are commendable. Varun Sharma's comic timing is spot-on, and he effortlessly commands most of the laughter in the film's duration. Pankaj Tripathi also shines in his character, contributing substantially to the movie's comedic essence. Pulkit Samrat and Manjot Singh put up satisfactory performances. Richa Chadha does well in portraying the charismatic and cunning Bholi. The music, crafted by Tanishk Bagchi and Abhishek Nailwal, is catchy, providing a funky, light-hearted background to the unfolding chaos.
Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the movie starts strong but struggles to maintain momentum due to Vipul Vig's script. The story is ambitiously packed, leading to a hodgepodge of sequences that veer away from the central narrative. Despite an engaging first half, the film loses its track, becoming entangled in toilet humour and the overuse of slapstick comedy.
The editing of the film could have been tighter, ensuring a more streamlined progression of the narrative. Certain sequences feel overstretched, negatively impacting the plot's pacing. The initial promise of a political race between Choocha and Bholi gives way to a convoluted plot of deceit, love triangles, kidnapping, and a potential water crisis, which were unfortunately underexplored.
In terms of animation and graphics, the film does not stand out significantly, mostly relying on its narrative and performances to entertain the audience. However, these elements did not distract or negatively impact the audience's viewing experience.
Fukrey 3 will appeal to viewers who enjoy slapstick comedy and unexpected plot twists. However, the convoluted story and overstretched sequences can hinder the overall viewer experience. Still, it emerges as a light-hearted, one-time watch for its commendable performances and quirky soundtrack. While it might falter in its narrative execution, the performances, especially by Varun Sharma and Pankaj Tripathi, make it worth a watch.

Hunny, played by Pulkit Samrat, is the brains behind all of their antics. Despite his reputation as a Fukra or no-gooder, his character showcases a charm and quick wit that always finds its way through any trouble. Samrat's portrayal is enjoyable to watch, but there are instances where his performance could be more impressive with stronger narratives for his character. His quick thinking does drive several plot points, and his interactions with the other characters provide several comical moments.
Varun Sharma's Dilip Choochaa Singh is the heart and soul of this movie. His character is an innocent and hilarious man with an uncanny ability - Deja-Choo, which involves making predictions. Sharma's comic timing is impeccable and he becomes the primary catalyst in the narrative. Sharma portrays him in such a natural and effortless way that, despite the over-the-top nature of Choochaa, he never feels forced or uncomfortable.
The character Lali Halwai, played by Manjot Singh, often finds himself in the role of the exasperated friend. His character is not as flashy or impactful as the others but his performance as the often frustrated voice of reason adds a pleasant balance to the group dynamic. Singh successfully brings forth a measured humor in his character, showing versatility in his acting.
Bholi Punjaban, played by Richa Chadha, is the ambitious and formidable antagonist of the story. She is seen contesting an election while cunningly scheming her way through things. Chadha is brilliant in her portrayal of the power-hungry character, bringing a level of charm and depravity to Bholi Punjaban that keeps the audience captivated. Her drive for power and her approach to achieving it brings in a level of tension and hilarity to the movie that is most definitely one of its strong suits.
