After completing his drama courses at the National School of Drama and Drama Studio London, Adil Hussain returned to Assam and began his acting journey at Hengul Theatre. In Delhi, he received training under Khalid Tyabji and Swapan Bose at Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Puducherry, as well as with Dilip Shankar.
