Indian actor Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub Khan performs in Hindi-language movies. In his eight-year career he has regularly been placed in supporting roles and has been in over 25 movies. Additionally in 2008 he contributed to the Hindi television series Kyunki... Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai which was broadcast on Doordarshan. He has worked on four films with Aanand L. Rai as the director.
Ayyub made his acting debut in the financially successful semi-biographical thriller No One Killed Jessica (2011) directed by Raj Kumar Gupta for which he was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He then made brief appearances in the commercial successes Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011) Jannat 2 (2012) Raanjhana (2013) Shahid (2013) Tubelight (2017) Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi (2019) and Article 15 (2019).
With small appearances in three of the highest-grossing Indian movies of all time—the crime drama Raees (2017) the science fiction drama Mission Mangal (2019) and the romance comedy Tanu Weds Manu: Returns—Ayyub achieved his greatest commercial triumph. His only leading part in his professional career came in Sameer (2017) which turned out to be one of the worst films of the year.
