Parvathy Thiruvothu Kottuvattaa is an Indian actress best known for her work in Tamil and Malayalam movies. She has won two Kerala State Film Awards four Filmfare Awards South and a National Film Award.
South Indian actress Parvathy is trained in Bharatnatyam dance. She has appeared in several Malayalam films including Take Off Charlie Koode Bangalore Days Ennu Ninte Moideen and Notebook.
For her performance as Sameera in the well-regarded film Take Off Parvathy has won awards including the Special Jury Award for Best Female Actor at the International Film Festival of India making her the first Indian actor to ever win the honor. Additionally she was honored with the Special Jury Mention at the National Film Awards the Kerela State Film Award for Best Actress and the Filmfare Award for Best Actress-Malayalam.
