Indian actor Guru Somasundaram is well recognized for his work in the South Indian cinema industry. Guru was born into a middle-class family in Chennai India. He gained recognition as a reputable Tamil theatrical performer before making his film debut in 2011 with a supporting role in the neo-noir black comedy Aaranya Kaandam.

Despite acknowledging their love Veni's father a manual scavenger has misgivings about Dakshna and Malar's romance.
Malar consents to a second marriage as a result. Malar is matched with the ideal groom by Dakshna but he is not yet prepared for marriage due to his financial difficulties. Dakshna decides to raise money to solve Jeeva's financial issue so that Malar can be married once more. While on this tour he receives financial assistance from many kind people yet he falls short of money.
Karthik Subbaraj wrote and directed this movie. Under the name Sun Pictures Kalanithi Maran produced the movie. Along with Simran M. Sasikumar Trisha Bobby Simha Megha Akash Malavika Mohanan Mahendran Guru Somasundaram Sananth Vijay Sethupathi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui who play supporting parts the film also stars Rajinikanth. Anirudh Ravichander wrote the music Tirru handled the cinematography and Vivek Harshan handled the editing. In June 2018 principal photography commenced. The first schedule for the shoot started on June 7 at Eastern Forest Rangers College in Kurseong Darjeeling with the first nine days of the early portions lasting.
