Mamta Mohandas is an Indian playback singer, actress, and film producer. She has also appeared in Tamil and Telugu movies. She has appeared in over 50 movies and has received numerous honors, including two Filmfare Awards South for Best Female Playback Singer in Telugu in 2006 and Best Actress in Malayalam in 2010, as well as the Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress in 2010. 

She has established Mamta Mohandas Productions as the name of her own film production firm. She received training in Hindustani and Carnatic music. She contributed her vocals to the Rakhi soundtrack's Rakhi Rakhi song (2006). For the song, she was given the best female vocalist prize.
