Biography

Shuly Nadar is a well-known Indian fitness model, calisthenics athlete, and TV personality. She has gained a lot of popularity in recent years for her incredible fitness journey and is a highly respected figure in the fitness industry. Shuly first rose to fame in 2023 after appearing on the popular Indian reality TV show, MTV Roadies – Karm Ya Kaand. Her impressive muscular physique and dedication to fitness won the hearts of many viewers, and she quickly amassed a large following on social media.

Education 

Shuly Nadar was born in Tamil Nadu and later moved to Mumbai, where she grew up. She completed her schooling at St. Jude's High School in Malad-West, Mumbai. After completing her schooling, she enrolled at Vivek Vidyalaya & Junior College in Goregaon (West), Mumbai.

Continuing her education, Shuly pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies at the University of Mumbai from 2017 to 2020. It's worth mentioning that she performed exceptionally well in her first semester exams and topped her class.

This educational background in mass communication and media studies has likely provided Shuly with valuable skills that she can utilize in her TV personality endeavors.

Family

Shuly Nadar belongs to a South Indian Christian family that hails from Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu. Her mother's name is Mallika Nadar and her brother's name is Yeshudas Nadar.

Boyfriend

Shuly shared her traumatic experience with an abusive boyfriend and the various labels she battled due to her dark skin color during her MTV Roadies auditions. She admitted that she fell in love with a boy who was six years older than her when she was 14 or 15 years old. As children, the two of them used to play together in the neighborhood. Her boyfriend would give flattering comments about her skin colour. 

The friend of Shuly's boyfriend came up to her one day and told her that Shuly's boyfriend had been beaten up by his parents and that he wanted to meet her someplace later that evening. Shuly, who came from a traditional South Indian family, escaped her home during the night by deceiving her parents into thinking she was going to a classmate's house to pick up a homework assignment. After that, Shuly and her friend arrived at the location her boyfriend had requested they visit. Surprisingly, there were no nearby businesses or homes; the area was deserted. While another man watched them and told Shuly that no one would marry her because of her dark complexion, her boyfriend attempted to molestation there. The comments broke Shuly’s heart, and she ran away.

Career

Shuly Nadar started working as a school teacher at Vivek Vidyalaya & Junior College in Goregaon (West) in 2022. However, she left her teaching job within 7 months to prepare for a calisthenics competition.

In January 2023, she participated in the Barberian Competition, a popular calisthenics event, and secured second place in the Guns & Roses category. This was a remarkable achievement for her and elevated her status as a fitness athlete.

Later that same year, in 2023, Shuly appeared as a contestant on the 19th season of the popular Indian reality TV show MTV Roadies. During the auditions, she was assigned to the team of gang leader Rhea Chakraborty. This was a huge opportunity for Shuly, as it allowed her to showcase her fitness skills and talent to a larger audience.

The MTV Roadies reality series from India is currently in its nineteenth season, which is being produced by Banijay Asia. Sonu Sood serves as the host of the program, which debuted on MTV India on June 3, 2023, and is digitally streamed on JioCinema. Along with the emergence of new gang leaders, Gautam Gulati and Rhea Chakraborty, it also heralds the return of gang leader Prince Narula. Shiv Thakare, an ex-Roadie, appeared as a guest gang leader in one episode.
