Shashank Vyas, born 30 November 1986, is an Indian actor and model best known for his roles in Balika Vadhu as Dr. Jagdish Jagya Singh, Captain Ravish Vashisht in Jaana Na Dil Se Door, and Roop in Roop - Mard Ka Naya Swaroop.

Shashank Vyas was born on November 30, 1986, in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. He is currently 36 years old. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius.

Childhood and Education

As a child, he was raised in Ujjain and later moved to Indore for higher education and career opportunities. After completing his school education in Ujjain, Shashank went on to attend Maharaja Ranjit Singh College in Indore. Initially, he started studying for MBA entrance exams. However, upon his friend's encouragement, Shashank decided to pursue a career in acting instead.

Born to parents Vikas and Geeta Vyas, Shashank comes from a Pushkarna Brahman family. Shashank Vyas was born into a loving and supportive family. Shashank made his television debut in 2010 as Jagdish Jagya Singh in Colours TV's Balika Vadhu. He portrayed Captain Ravish Vashisht in Star Plus's Jaana Na Dil Se Door in 2016. He played Roopendra Roop Singh Vaghela in Colours TV's Roop - Mard Ka Naya Swaroop from 2018 to 2019. In July 2019, he also participated in a short film titled 'Ek Mulaqat' as Avi Malhotra, starring Adaa Khan.

Balika Vadhu is a 2,245-episode Indian serial opera that aired on Colours TV from July 21, 2008 and July 31, 2016. The story is set in rural Rajasthan and follows a child bride from childhood until womanhood. The show is divided into two sections. The first season, Balika Vadhu - Kacchi Umar Ke Pakke Rishte (English: Child Bride - Strong Relationships of Tender Age), aired for 2,164 episodes and centred on Anandi and Jagdish, who married while they were children. The second installment, Balika Vadhu - Lamhe Pyaar Ke (English: Child Bride - Moments of Love), lasted 84 episodes and depicted the life of Anandi's daughter, Dr. Nandini, popularly known as Nimboli, who was also a child bride. Jaana Na Dil Se Door (English: Don't Leave My Heart) is a Star Plus television series that aired in India. Vikram Singh Chauhan, Shivani Surve, and Shashank Vyas starred in it. Sara Khan, Smita Bansal, Vineet Kumar, and Shilpa Tulaskar all play important roles in the show. The show concluded on June 30, 2017. Shashank Vyas was portrayed as Ravish Vashisht: Army soldier; Ramakant and Suman's son; Sujata's step-son; Vividha's ex-husband; Aditi's brother; Atharv's half-brother; Kangana's husband; Madhav's step-father (2016-2017).

Tees Maar Khan (2010 film)

Tees Maar Khan is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language heist comedy film directed by Farah Khan, written by Ashmith Kunder and produced by Twinkle Khanna and Ronnie Screwvala under UTV Motion Pictures, Hari Om Entertainment, and Three's Company. The film is a remake of the 1966 Italian film After the Fox, which story Shirish adapted, and stars Akshay Kumar, Akshaye Khanna, and Katrina Kaif in the key parts. Special appearances are made by Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor. Tees Maar Khan was released internationally on December 24, 2010, during the Christmas season.
