Aalia Furniturewala was born on November 28, 1997. She is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films and goes by the stage name Alaya F. She is the daughter of actress Pooja Bedi and was born into the Bedi family. She started acting in the comedy film Jawaani Jaaneman, which came out in 2020. For that movie, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Since then, she has been in the scary movie Freddy (2022).

Jawaani Jaaneman (2020), a family comedy-drama directed by Nitin Kakkar, was Alaya's debut film. In that, she played the role of a 21-year-old girl who claims that a 40-year-old man who despises marriage is her biological father. There was a range of opinions expressed by critics regarding the film. The following year, in 2023, she appeared alongside DJ Mohabbat in the film Almost Pyaar, in which she played Karan Mehta's antagonist. According to India Today, Alaya has demonstrated once again that she is getting better as an actor and makes a case for herself in the process. She has played both of her roles easily and perfectly, and she does a great job of showing how innocent they are." The movie did not have a very successful opening weekend at the box office.
A large number of businesses, including Lenskart and Nykaa, have compensated Alaya for promoting their wares. She was the face of the "A Million Nakhras" campaign that Nykaa ran in 2022 as a model. Alaya came in at number 42 on the list of the 50 Most Desirable Women of 2020 that was compiled by the Times. The publication Eastern Eye included Alaya on their list of "30 under 30 Asians" in the year 2023.
The plot of the film revolves around Jaswinder 'Jazz' Singh, a 40-year-old carefree womanizer who works in London as a real estate broker during the day with his brother Dimpy and parties at night in a pub owned by his friend Rajendra 'Rocky' Sharma, taking whichever girl agrees to go to his home for a one-night stand. Jazz and his brother Dimpy are in the middle of negotiating a multi-million-pound deal for a property in Hounslow, but Jazz's elderly landlady Mallika refuses to sell the house because of an old tree, despite Jazz's repeated attempts to convince her to do so.
Jeet Gannguli, Arko Pravo Mukherjee, and Sundeep Gosswami composed the music for the film. Kumaar, Rashmi Virag, Sundeep Goswami, and Kanchhan Srivas wrote the lyrics. On April 13th, 2023, the film's trailer was released. Actress and lead character Alaya F made the distinction between an adaptation and a remake shortly after the trailer's release. Even the film's director, Arif Khan, referred to it as an inspiration rather than a rehash. He also noted that the two films' stories are different, despite their shared premise.
