Sreekanth Hariharan is a Musician & Playback Singer.

He hails from Trivandrum, Kerala and currently residing in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Born to T. S. Hariharan and singer Dr. B. Arundhathi, he hails from a family of musicians.

He has sung for composers including A. R. Rahman, D. Imman, Yuvan Shankar Raja, etc and some of his notable songs include 'Unakaga' (Bigil), 'Sofia' (99 Songs), Aazhi Soozhndha (Sivappu Manjal Pachai), Uthira Uthira (Pon Manickavel), Shivoham (Ponniyin Selvan - 2), etc.

He has also been working as a vocal supervisor under A. R. Rahman for projects including Ponniyin Selvan - 1, Ponniyin Selvan - 2, Cobra, Pathu Thala, Maamannan, etc.

He entered the world of playback singing at the age of 19 and has rendered over 50 songs in languages Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi & Bengali.

After completing his bachelors, Sreekanth Hariharan was a part of two international Folk Music Camps - ‘Ethno Flanders 2017 & Ethno Germany 2017’ with scholarship, after being selected via an audition process by Ethno. 

He gained experience, exposure and opportunities through reality shows such as Amrita TV Super Star Junior - 2, Mazhavil Manorama Indian Voice and Vijay TV Super Singer - 6, in which, he was a finalist, also leading him to an opportunity to sing for the Oscar- winning composer, Mr. A. R. Rahman, the first being ‘Unakaga’ for the movie ‘Bigil’ and later on rendering his voice for ‘Sofia’ from ’99 Songs’, and many others.

He was also a part of the 99 Songs Concert and A R Rahman Live Concert in Trichy.

He has collaborated with various artists for other independent music and has been travelling in and out of the country for performances.

Sreekanth Hariharan has composed and produced songs for his project ‘Kaivalya’ in the year 2017, his maiden independent work. The songs have influences of Indian Music and Flamenco.

His latest independent composition, ‘Idhu Kanava’ was adjudged the First under World Music in the International Songwriting Competition.
