Pavitra Rishta was an Indian Hindi Language TV Drama. It started on 1 June 2009 and ended on 25 Oct 2014. It was broadcasted on Zee TV. Pavitra Rishta was produced under the banner of Balaji Telefilms. The main leads of the show are Ankita Lokhande, Shushant Singh Rajput, and Hiten Tejwani.

Ekta Kapoor and her production business Balaji Telefilms suffered a loss when the ratings and popularity of all of her hit 2000s dramas fell and were canceled, as well as when newly introduced ones performed poorly. Since then, most channels have refused to hire her. Kapoor's and her production house's careers were revived when Pavitra Rishta was given a chance by Zee TV and became one of the most popular Hindi television shows.

The story centers around Manav and Archana. Archana is a homely, hardworking girl. Sulochana, Archana's mother, arranges for Archana's marriage to Manav Deshmukh, despite the fact that Manav is a mechanical engineer. Finally, Archana and Manav marry, and Manav's family discovers that he is merely a mechanic.

Archana and Manav gradually grow in love with one other. Sachin, Manav's younger brother, is killed in a vehicle accident, and his fiancée Shravani is expecting his child. So that Sachin and Shravani's unborn child has a great future, Archana and Manav divorce. Manav and Shravani are married, and Archana leaves Mumbai to further her higher education.

Later the story builds up and brings interesting twist and turn with year gaps. At last Manav and Archana commemorate their "Pavitra Rishta" together. Manav dies in a car accident, and Archana falls prey to grief. Their souls are seen together in heaven, showing their eternal love for one another.

The Director of the show is Mujammil Desai, Kushal Zaveri, Jignesh Vaishnav, V.G.Roy, Ajay Veermal, and Jafar Sheikh. The cast of the show includes Ankita Lokhande, Shushant Singh Rajput, Karan Veer Mehra, Ankit Narang, Priya Marathe, and Swati Anand.
