Saleel Kulkarni is a Marathi Music Composer, Singer, and Author.

At the age of three, Saleel Kulkarni sang the Marathi Prose 'Jayostute' on All India Radio, Pune station. Later, he got singing and music training from prominent people such as Gangadharbuva Pimpalkhare, Jaymalabai Shiledar, and Pramod Marathe. Saleel Kulkarni received his formal education as a medicine graduate and worked as a doctor in his early years. 

He has created songs for Hindi and Marathi albums, serials, and films during the last 10 years as a music director.

Saleel Kulkarni is a vocalist who has contributed his voice to numerous composers for albums and plays. Bela Shende, Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, Shreya Ghoshal, Sandeep Khare, Hrishikesh Ranade, Suvarna Mategaonkar, Shubha Joshi, Madhura Datar, Vibhavari Apte Joshi, and Avadhoot Gupte are among the musicians that have sung/recorded for Saleel Kulkarni. 

Saleel Kulkarni was a judge on Zed Marathi's competitive singing reality program "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa," where he coached and fostered numerous rising talented persons in addition to analyzing their performances. 

He has also authored pieces for important Marathi newspapers. He is the author of the debut novel "Lapavalelya Kaacha". Saleel owns and operates a music school in Pune.
