About Riya Deepsi
Riya Deepsi is an Indian film and television actress and a model. She was born and brought up in Mumbai Maharashtra. Riya stepped into the showbiz industry at the early age of 17.
Riya made her television debut with a series called ‘Mahabharat’ in 2013 where she played the character of a Gandhari - blindfolded queen. Before Mahabharat Riya appeared for an uncredited brief role on Mata Ki Chowki.
Much before Riya could enter the Bollywood industry, she was a theatre artist. Riya Deepsi was a part of Nadira Babbber’s theatre group for four long years.
Riya Deepsi later made her Hindi film debut in 2018 with the film, ‘Bhaagte Raho’ where she played the lead role of Gungun. She made her Bollywood debut through Praful D.S. Tiwari's film received a lot of praise.
After Mahabharat, Riya worked in Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap Singh, Razia Sultan and Begusarai as supporting roles in both. Riya Deepsi also played a parallel lead role of Princess Barsine, second wife of Alexander the Great in Porus from 2017-2018.
Riya Deepsi has also actively participated in celebrity sports reality television shows like Box Cricket League.
Riya Deepsi appeared in an episodic role of a Youtube web series ‘Be Safe Nidhi’ in 2019. She later worked in a supporting role in ALTBalaji original web series ‘it Happened in Calcutta’ in 2020.
