Plot
Jee Karda is a web series that follows the lives of seven childhood friends who share a common belief that by the time they all reach the age of 30, their lives will be perfectly aligned with their dreams and aspirations. However, as their 30th birthday approaches, they are confronted with the harsh reality that life rarely unfolds according to their plans.
The plot revolves around the individual struggles and challenges faced by each friend as they navigate their personal and professional lives. Despite their initial optimism and shared dreams, they find themselves grappling with unexpected obstacles, disappointments, and setbacks.
Throughout the series, the audience witnesses the complexities of relationships, careers, and personal growth as the characters confront the realities of adulthood. The friends must confront their own insecurities, fears, and failures while attempting to maintain their bond and support one another through life's ups and downs.
As the story unfolds, the characters are forced to reevaluate their goals, aspirations, and the meaning of success. They learn that life is full of uncertainties and that true fulfilment lies in finding happiness and contentment in the present moment, rather than simply chasing after predetermined ideals.
Jee Karda offers a realistic portrayal of the challenges and disappointments that can arise as individuals strive to fulfil their dreams. It explores themes of friendship, self-discovery, resilience, and the importance of adapting to unexpected circumstances. Ultimately, the series highlights the resilience of the human spirit and the power of friendship in navigating the unpredictable journey of life.
Release

Jee Karda will be released on Amazon Prime on 15th June 2023 consisting of a total of 8 episodes.
Review
The show's strengths were emphasised as its lively performances and captivating vibe, which made it an enjoyable guilty pleasure to watch, according to Archika Khurana, a reviewer from Times of India, who gave Jee Karda a rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars.
NDTV's Saibal Chatterjee stated "Jee Karda examines the repercussions of youthful excess and exuberance. It does so without coming up with anything that might be described as startlingly revelatory." She appreciated the cast, which included Tamannaah Bhatia, Aashim Gulati, and Suhail Nayyar. She did, however, criticise the show for failing to fully address the complexity of love and longing. She saw the plot as overloaded, lacking substance, and short in new ideas.
The Indian Express' Alaka Sahani applauded the series for its study of modern relationships and the cast's believable friendship. Still, Sahani noted that the story's great drama did not always have the expected effect. To tell a more captivating story, they suggested that the series should have focused more on substance above aesthetics and delved deeper into the challenges of today's youth.

Controversy
It appears that Bhatia went against her no-kiss policy for the very first time in her 18 years working in the film industry. This does not appear to have been received positively by some members of the online community.
She is once again in the news, but for reasons that are not particularly flattering this time around. After pictures and videos of her sexually suggestive moment from her role in Jee Karda went viral online, the actor has been the target of criticism on various social media platforms.
