In the 1980s, South Asian videotapes sold blue pictures, or low-quality pornographic films. Citation needed The UA (Parental Guidance) film addresses adolescent sex education. After positive reviews, Deshmukh planned a Hindi remake. Srikanth Velagaleti planned to remake this film in Tamil and Telugu.
