Darshan Jariwala is an accomplished Indian actor known for his work in Hindi films, television, and stage. He achieved recognition and acclaim by winning the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the movie Gandhi, My Father.

Darshan Jariwala gained popularity for his portrayal of Chedilal Chaturvedi in the television show Saas Bina Sasural, which aired on Sony Entertainment Television (India) from 18th October 2010 to 6th September.

Currently, he can be seen in Sony Set's show Sargam Ki Sadhe Satii, which serves as a sequel to his previous hit show Saas Bina Sasural. In this new series, Darshan Jariwala plays the character of Chedilal Awasthi, the father-in-law of the female protagonist, Anjali Tatrari. His performance in this role has garnered immense appreciation from the audience and critics alike.

Darshan Jariwala is associated with the production company Leela Theatres, which has co-produced plays like Salt & Pepper and Your Place Or Mine? In addition, they have produced the Gujarati double bill Ramesh Aakhi Raat, which comprises two one-act plays based on Ramesh Parekh's writings.

He has also been a part of various Hindi films, including Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd, Guru, Aap Kaa Surroor, Phata Poster Nikla Hero, and Humshakals. Interestingly, the renowned director Feroz Abbas Khan had initially approached Darshan Jariwala for the role of Gandhi in his play Mahatma v/s Gandhi. However, due to scheduling conflicts, he couldn't take up the project. Nevertheless, Feroz persisted and eventually cast him as Gandhi in the film Gandhi, My Father, which turned out to be a significant milestone in Darshan Jariwala's career.

Saas Bina Sasural is an Indian dramedy that revolves around the life of a young woman named Taanya, also known as Toasty. In this unique story, Toasty finds herself in an unusual sasural (in-laws' house) comprised of seven eccentric men, but there is no saas (mother-in-law) in the household. The series aired on Sony Entertainment Television and was first broadcast on 18 October 2010. The show was produced by Vipul D. Shah from Optimystix Entertainment. After a successful run, the series concluded on 6 September 2012.

 Adaalat

Adaalat is an Indian television courtroom drama anthology series that centers around the character of defence attorney K.D. Pathak, portrayed by Ronit Roy. The first season of the show premiered on Sony Entertainment Television on 20 November 2010 and continued for five years, concluding on 11 July 2015. The series, produced by Contiloe Entertainment, stars Ronit Roy in the lead role. Throughout its first season, Adaalat aired a total of 431 episodes.

After a break, Adaalat returned for its second season on Sony Entertainment Television on 4 June 2016, and it concluded on 4 September 2016. In its second season, the show aired 26 episodes.
