Raja and Rani meet and eventually fall in love. Raja's mother, Asha, believes that the Dave family is affluent and therefore sends a marriage proposal to Rani's family. However, after the marriage takes place, Asha discovers that Rani is not from a well-to-do background, causing a significant twist in the storyline.
