He joined the Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail boards of directors in 2014 together with his twin sister Isha. He was extensively involved in creating the network architecture and creating numerous applications and services like JioTV JioCinema and JioChat. 

Akash Ambani is the chief strategist at Jio Infocomm. At an event featuring brand ambassador Shah Rukh Khan and acclaimed composer A. R.
