He started his career as a guitar shredder playing for some of the biggest bands in Kolkata like Shiva and Cyanide Angels. His virtuoso style of guitar playing won him many awards and accolades back in the day.

Gourov Dasgupta was born on the 30th of November 1999. Gourov Dasgupta’s age as of 2023 is 24 years. 

Career

Gourov shifted to Mumbai in late 2007 after producing and playing music for some of the biggest names in the Chennai film circuit. 

His first film Dus Kahaaniyaan under Sanjay Gupta gained cult-like success and following. The rest of course has been one roller coaster of a ride his latest song Banke Hawa from Dhoka sung by Jubin Nautiyal is a massive hit and there are many more in the pipeline. 

He has contributed his compositions to many Bollywood movies like Bhuj, Big Bull, Dhoka Round the Corner, Shiddat which he also got nominated this year for best composer along with Rahman and Pritam
