Amardeep’s father Ameer Basha is a Kuchipudi dancer and retired RTC employee. His mother Rupa is also a dancer and BJP leader. Following his parent’s footsteps, Amardeep also learned dance and also participated in a few dance competitions. After finishing his schooling, he did his B. Tech in Computer Science. 

Later, he went to London to pursue masters. After returning from London, he started his acting career with a short film ‘Parinayam’ in 2016. He then moved to Trivandrum, Kerala to work in a software company. After some time, he then moved back to Hyderabad and joined Idream Telugu and appeared in many short films and web series like Pizza vs Gongura, Mangamma Gari Manavadu, Girl Friend Oorelithe, Super Machi, Raju Gari Kidnap, My Pubg Wife, Girlfriend, Double Date, and Love You Zindagi, etc.

In 2017, Amardeep made his debut in Telugu Television Industry with the ‘Uyyala Jampala’ serial, in which he played the role of Rahul. In 2019, Amardeep got a chance to play the main lead role in the ‘Siri Siri Muvvalu’ serial, in which he played the lead role of Ashwin. Currently, Amardeep acting in ‘Janaki Kalaganaledhu’ along with Priyanka Jain. In between, He appeared in a couple of serials like Lawyer Arjun in Attarintiki Daredi, and Guest Appearance in Hitler Gari Pellam. Apart from serials, He also appeared in various films like Ayushman Bhava, Care of Anasuya, Krishnarjun Yudham, Shailaja Reddy Alludu, etc. On 3rd August 2022, Amardeep got engaged to Tejaswini Gowda (Actress) in Bangalore.
