Details

Story

Kabir Singh, a senior medical student who loves football and vintage English motorcycles, is devastated when his sweetheart is compelled to wed another man. He spirals into self-destructive behavior despite already having anger management problems. Kabir Singh" is a Bollywood film released in 2019. The film is a remake of the Telugu film "Arjun Reddy".

The movie follows the story of Kabir Singh, a talented but short-tempered medical student who falls in love with a fellow student, Preeti Sikka. However, their relationship is disrupted when Preeti's family arranges her marriage to someone else. Kabir, unable to cope with the loss, spirals into a life of alcohol and drugs, causing problems in his personal and professional life.

Kabir Singh was critisized a lot for showing Kabir a troublesome character who smacks Preeti, her father, pulls a knife on a girl when she refuses to sleep with him, and who, without encountering any significant consequences, could be ungrateful, angry, aggressive, misogynist.
