Palak Muchhal is an Indian playback singer and lyricist who works in Bollywood and other Indian film industries. She is most recognized for her contributions to popular Bollywood songs in films such as Ek Tha Tiger (2012) Aashiqui 2 (2013) Kick (2014) Action Jackson (2014) Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015) M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016) Kaabil (2017) Baaghi 2 (2018) and Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas (2019). Her hit song Kaun Tujhe from the film M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story catapulted her to fame in the Bollywood industry.

Muchhal had aspired to be a Bollywood playback singer ever since she was a child. During her childhood and adolescence she recorded six non-filmi albums. Mithoon on the other hand is well-known for his compositions which include Udd Ja Parindey Tum Hi Ho and Tujhe Kitna Chahein Aur among others. Despite the fact that the couple had collaborated on numerous projects including the musical blockbusters from the film Aashique 2 their marriage was arranged by their parents.
Palak took to Instagram shortly after their wedding on November 6 2022 and uploaded romantic photos with her lovely husband Mithoon. They were both dressed up for their weddings and posed with each other. Their heartfelt moments were unforgettable.
Muchhal relocated to Mumbai from Indore in late 2006 in search of singing chances in Bollywood. She sang her first Bollywood song for the film Damadamm! in October 2011 which received generally positive reviews. A month later she sang her second song Pyaar Ke Silsile for the film Na Jaane Kabse.
The soundtrack in Na Jaane Kabse as well as the film itself garnered negative feedback. Muchhal was friends with actor Salman Khan. Khan had previously suggested her name to music director Sajid-Wajid for his film Veer. Khan also suggested her name to Yash Raj Banner. Following that Muchhal collaborated with KK on the song Laapata which was used in the 2012 blockbuster film Ek Tha Tiger.
The song is sung by Palak Muchhal & Yasser Desai. Nadeem composed and wrote the film's soundtrack and lyrics (of Nadeem-Shravan fame). Shree Krishna International released the soundtrack which includes six songs on July 13 2017. Palak Muchhal and Yasser Desai recorded the entire album. Songs have received over 800 million views.

When she was four years old Muchhal joined the Kalyanji-Anandji Little Star a group of young singers. During the Kargil War in 1999 when she was seven years old she spent a week singing at stores in her hometown of Indore to raise money for the families of fallen Indian troops.
Her efforts were widely publicized in Indian media and she raised 25 000 rupees (US$810). Later that year she sang to raise donations for Odisha cyclone victims. Muchhal has toured extensively in India and worldwide for her charity act which is titled Dil Se Dil Tak (From Heart to Heart) in Hindi and Save Little Hearts in English.
Palash her younger brother also performs in the same concerts to raise funds for children with renal diseases. Doctors permit Muchhal to be present in the surgical room. She has her own surgical robe in the hospital and during the procedure she chants the Jain Navkar Mantra.
Muchhal and her parents do not receive any compensation from the charity shows but she does receive a doll for each child whose life she improves via her efforts.
