At the Indian Military Academy Autumn Ball Night which is held around the conclusion of each term to commemorate the completion of the military cadets' training programme Chaudhary was selected as Miss IMA in 2017.

Femina Miss India (2018)

Chaudhary participated in the Campus Princess 2018 competition which was sponsored by Fashion Big Bazaar and was selected as one of the winners from the Patiala auditions. She competed in the annual Femina Miss India pageant on behalf of the state of Haryana which she ultimately won.

Miss Grand International (2018)

Meenakshi Chaudhary represented India at the Miss Grand International 2018 competition. The then-reigning Miss Grand International 2017 Mara José Lora of Peru gave her the title of Miss Grand India 2018 in a formal ceremony. 

At the Miss Grand International 2018 pageant in Yangon Myanmar Chaudhary represented India and placed in the top 5 of the Miss Popular category. Her father Late Col. B.R Chaudhary was honoured with the Prayer of Peace motif for her national costume. 

She finished the competition in first place behind eventual winner Clara Sosa of Paraguay. Meenakshi is the first Indian woman to place in the pageant in that particular position.

Chaudhary defeated 440 national representatives who competed for their nations in the five Grand Slam beauty pageants to win the title of Miss Grand Slam 2018 from Global Beauties. Since Lara Dutta Miss Universe 2000 Meenakshi Chaudhary India's first Miss Grand Slam winner from Global Beauties.

Acting Debut

With the official adaption of the BBC drama series Doctor Foster called Out of Love Chaudhary made her acting debut. She portrayed Alia Kashyap a 22-year-old who deals with hardship stress and the fallout from dating a married person.

She was chosen to play the lead role alongside Sushanth Anumolu in the Telugu film Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu in 2020.

Salaar (2023)

A new action thriller movie in Telugu called Salaar will be written produced and directed by Prashanth Neel and released by Hombale Films. Along with Jagapathi Babu Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran Prabhas plays the film's lead role.

Principal photography for the movie near Godavarikhani Telangana started in January 2021 after it was announced in December 2020. Bhuvan Gowda is in charge of the cinematography and Ravi Basrur is in charge of the music composition.
