One of the six applicants chosen for the programme was Ashneer as well. He returned to India after finishing his studies in France and took the CAT admission exam scoring well across the board. Grover's strong performance on the Common Admission Test or CAT led to his acceptance into the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. From IIM Ahmedabad he received his MBA.
He accepted a position at Kotak Investment Bank right away after receiving his MBA from IIM where he served as a Vice President for a complete 7 years. Then in March 2013 he began working as the Director of Corporate Development for the American multinational company American Express (Amex) where he remained for almost two years.
While attending coaching sessions at Career Launcher in Delhi Madhuri Jain—who received her undergraduate degree from NIFT Delhi—met Ashneer Grover the man she would later wed. Prior to collaborating professionally with her spouse Madhuri worked for well-known companies like Satya Paul.

He was listed as the co-founder and managing director (MD) of the Indian fintech business BharatPe on his profile while he was on the programme. According to rumours from June 16 2022 Ashneer Grover was seeking out a new business for which he would probably need to raise between $200 and $300 million. In order to raise the necessary funds the former co-founder and MD of BharatPe is currently in the US and in discussions with family offices and other private equity offshore players based in the US.
According to sources Grover may have invested some of his own funds to launch the company. He later plans to sell a portion of his BharatPe interests or raise money by selling shares of the new company.

When he was last reported in June 2022 Ashneer Grover had not decided which company or industry he would be likely to launch with his new enterprise. On the other hand the former creator of BharatPe said on his 40th birthday that he would be returning to the business field and had hoped to create another unicorn.
On July 9 2022 the firm which is known as Third Unicorn Pvt Ltd. and was founded by Ashneer and his wife Madhuri Jain Grover has already been established. Ashneer Grover and his wife will both serve as Directors for the firm which will purportedly debut on July 6 2022. The disclosed amounts for the authorised share capital and the total paid-up capital are each Rs. 10 lakh.
Ashneer Grover co-founder and Managing Director (MD) of BharatPe on Monday 28 February 2022 resigned from the fintech startup with immediate effect.
Grover has indicated that he will continue to be the "single largest individual shareholder of the company" despite stepping down from his positions as BharatPe MD and director of the board.
After allegations of financial misappropriation led BharatPe to fire his wife Madhuri Jain Grover the company's head of controls Grover abruptly announced his resignation. In addition the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) rejected Grover's petition against the company for opening an investigation into him.

This is a phoney audio recording of con artists attempting to collect 240 000 bitcoins in donations and I stood my ground.
Recently during the discussion a student from the Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad remarked These days most entrepreneurs are becoming influencers. I see many parallels between you and Ankur Warikoo. Do businesses begin to believe that fame is important?In response Mr Grover stated that he had never been informed anything more disrespectful and that he had only one rule: never use his and Mr Warikoo's names in the same sentence.
He went on to add that he was so offended that he considered standing up and leaving. He informed the student he'd rather be cursed than compared to Ankur Warikoo.Grover joked that he was offended by the comparison after carefully listening to the student's query. He stated that he had never been informed anything more offensive.
The 40-year-old businessman went on to say that he is so insulted that he just wants to get up and leave.I'm so offended that I want to stand up and leave. You don't put his and my names together in the same statement. I only have one rule: utter whatever you want to me. You can abuse my mother and sibling without repercussions. But don't put me in the same category as Ankur Warikoo.
