Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is an Indian Hindi Language Romantic Comedy Movie. Under the banner of Colour Yellow Productions, Eros International, and YNOT Studios producers like Aanand L. Rai, Hrishikesh Bhargava, Himanshu Sharma, and S. Sashikanth produced the film. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar. Actors like Jimmy Shergill and Ayush Sehgal also played remarkable roles in this movie. Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is a remake of the director's original Tamil film Kalyana Samayal Saadham(2013). Shubh Mangal Saavdhan was released on September 1, 2017, with a running time of 119 minutes. 

The plot of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan centers around a timid boy named Mudit(Ayushman Khurana) who is able to win Sugandha’s heart(Bhumi Pednekar) over, and the two decide to wed. Prior to the wedding, they came to know that Mudit has erectile dysfunction, which causes a split in their relationship. Due to the movie's commercial success, a spiritual successor called Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, which is based on homosexuality, was released on February 21, 2020.
