Freshers is a Marathi tv show directed by Aniruddh Shinde that premiered on Zee Yuva on August 22, 2016.   It came to an end on June 13, 2017.  The friendships and lifestyles of first-year B.M.M. degree college students admitted to H. K. College in Mumbai are the subject of this series. It stars Mitali Mayekar, Amruta Deshmukh, Onkar Raut, Siddhart Khirid, Rashmi Anpat, Rasika Vengurlekar and Shubhankar Tawde in lead roles.

Seven undergraduates enrolled in a bachelor's degree programme in mass media are the focus of the story. They are from various family origins and hail from various parts of Maharashtra. Everyone has their own ambitions and dreams. After being judgmental of their differences at first, they begin to appreciate the experience as they uncover their actual selves. Each day provides a fresh set of exciting adventures for them. They always stick up for one other, no matter how bad the issue is.

Freshers was well received by audiences and critics alike. The realistic world created by the director, free from the high-pitched and unrealistic drama is what makes Freshers stand out from other TV shows and movies of the same genre. It is considered one of the best Marathi TV shows in recent times and its popularity speaks for itself.
