Film writer Rahul, played by Suhrud Wardekar, appears to be suffering from a case of writer's block because he is unable to come up with a romantic plot for an upcoming movie. 

Rahul's girlfriend is Riya (Vaishnavi Karmarkar). They have been together for seven years and have been in love for all of that time. Riya's family is desperate for them to be married, but Rahul maintains that he is not prepared because he has not had a paying job for the past half a year.

One day, Rahul stumbled across a wallet that belonged to Ramakant. A note written by someone named Sunanda and dated 48 years ago was in the wallet. After Rahul gets the inspiration for his love story, he decides to look for Sunanda and Ramakant.

Motivated by this discovery, Rahul embarks on a journey to find Sunanda and Ramakant, the individuals mentioned in the letter. While the premise sounds intriguing, the execution falls short, resulting in a film that fails to captivate its audience.

Siddhant Sawant's screenplay, with an additional screenplay by Ashwin Hatwalne, struggles to maintain a consistent level of interest and engagement throughout the movie. Although there are occasional entertaining moments, the overall narrative lacks the necessary depth to sustain the viewer's attention. The story feels contrived and far-fetched, making it difficult to fully invest in the characters and their motivations.

The dialogues penned by Ashwin Hatwalne are disappointingly ordinary, failing to leave a lasting impact. The lines lack the depth and emotional resonance that could have elevated the film's overall quality. Despite the best efforts of the cast, the screenplay and dialogue limit their ability to shine.

On the whole, Aathvani is dull fare that falls short of its potential. Despite a promising premise, the film's weak screenplay, ordinary dialogue, and lacklustre direction result in an underwhelming cinematic experience. While there are a few enjoyable moments and commendable performances from certain cast members, they are not enough to salvage the overall mediocrity of the film. • Dr. Mohan Agashe: Mohan Agashe is a well-known Indian psychiatrist and actor. He was born on July 23, 1947. In 1996, for his work in the theatre, he was given the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award.

• Suhas Joshi: Actress Suhasini Joshi, better known by her screen name Suhas Joshi, has worked in the Marathi film industry as well as theatre and television. In addition to that, she has appeared in a great deal of Bollywood films. She was given the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for Acting in 2018, which the organization presents annually. She is best recognized for playing Swapnil Joshi's grandmother in the films Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 2 and Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 3, which brought her a great deal of fame. She is currently playing the part of Shilpa Tulaskar's mother-in-law in the Marathi television show Tu Tevha Tashi, which airs on Zed Marathi.

• Suhrud Wardekar: Suhrud Wardekar is a well-known actor and director based in India. After directing and performing in the video for the hit Marathi song Govyachya Kinaryav, Suhrud Wardekar rose to prominence and received widespread recognition. Suhrud Wardekar has made guest appearances on a number of popular television shows, such as Asava Sundar Swapnancha Bangla and Ek Ghar Mantarlela, amongst others.
