Ratan Tata is an Indian entrepreneur and Former chairman of the company Tata Sons. Ratan Tata’s full name is Sir Ratan Naval Tata. Ratan Tata’s birthplace is Bombay. Ratan Tata's height is 5 feet 10 inches.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has made Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) the largest corporate grant ever for a center to study cognitive systems and autonomous cars. TCS provided a $35 million donation for this impressive 48 000-square-foot structure known as TCS Hall. In order to create design and engineering principles suitable for the requirements of individuals and communities with limited resources the Tata Group endowed the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and established the Tata Center for Technology and Design (TCTD) in 2014. They gave the institute $ 950 million the highest donation the organization has ever received.
