Agadbam (2010), Yanda Kartavya Aahe (2006), Jatra (2006), and Aga Bai Arrecha are some of Shinde's famous works. Shinde directed a Hindi film called Toh Baat Pakki, which was released in 2010. Sahib Bibi Ani Mi, Hasa Chakat Fu, Ghadalay Bighadalay, Shreegut Gangadhar Tipate, and Madhu Ithe Aani Chandra Tithe are some of the Marathi television serials he has directed.

Shahir Sable is his maternal grandfather was a folk artist and singer. Charusheela Sable who is a marathi actor is Kedar Shinde’s maternal aunt.

Kedar Shinde married his wife Bela Shinde in 1996.  Kedar Shinde and wife Bela have completed over 25 glorious years of marital bliss. 

Career 

Shinde's influence extends beyond his own accomplishments to the Marathi cinema industry as a whole, where he has inspired and mentored budding filmmakers. His devotion to his art, paired with his ability to entertain and educate viewers, has left an unforgettable imprint on the world of cinema. Shinde was just 13 years old when he was on his way to Nasik Military School, but because they were short of actors, his aunt Charusheela Sable forced him to join his grandfather's play.

 The first show Shinde worked on was Maharashtrachi Lokdhara (Maharashtra folk dances). Shahir Shinde founded Maharashtrachi Lokdhara, a group of performers that performed Maharashtra's traditional native dance.Some of Kedar Shinde's films as a director include Aga Bai Arechyaa, Jatra Hyalagaad Re Tyalagaad, Yanda Kartavya Aahe, Majha Navra Tujhi Bayko (released in 2006), Mukkam Post London (released in 2007), Yancha Kahi Nem Nahi, Galgale Nighal, Bakula Namda Ghotale (released in 2008), Irada Pakka.

Aga Bai Areccha

Aga Bai Areccha is a popular 2004 Marathi film directed by Kedar Shinde. The film stands out as a touching and amusing family drama about the intricacies of relationships and the value of empathy and understanding.

Jatra: Hyalagaad Re Tyalagaad depicts Dhananjay and Ganya as they navigate the challenges of organising a successful Jatra performance. With its brilliant costumes, lively music, and energetic performances, the film brings to life the colourful world of Jatra.

Maharashtracha Shahir 

Kedar Shinde directed the Marathi biographical drama film Maharashtracha Shahir. The film, which was released in 2008, pays tribute to the great Marathi folk singer and social reformer Shahir Sable.

Kya Haal, Mr. Paanchal? (also known as Five Wives of Mr. Unlucky Person) is a Star Bharat Hindi television sitcom directed by Kedar Shinde. The plot revolves around Kunti Devi, a mother who begs God for an ideal daughter-in-law with five attributes for her son Kanhaiya. However, due to a weird twist, she ends up having five daughters-in-law, each with one quality. Mr. Kanhaiya Paanchal ki Paanch Patniya is also broadcast in Pakistan and Nepal.

Shriyut Gangadhar Tipre

Shriyut Gangadhar Tipre was a Marathi television show that aired on Alpha TV. The series premiered on November 2, 2001, and concluded on January 7, 2005, with 165 episodes. On audience demand, the series was rerun during the COVID-19 epidemic from June 15 to July 11, 2020.
