Subhash Ghai produced and directed the drama movie Yuvvraaj in 2008. Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Zayed Khan, Katrina Kaif, Aanjjan Srivastav, Shyam Mashalkar, and Boman Irani all appear in the movie. Three brothers from a broken family try to deceive one another in order to acquire their father's money in the musical Yuvvraaj. The director claims that the movie is about the conceit and overconfidence of today's youth. The movie premiered on November 21, 2008.

 Jeremy Yuvraaj Dr. P. K. Banton (Boman Irani), the father of Dev Singh's fiancée Anushka (Katrina Kaif), dislikes Dev Singh since he is not wealthy and can be a bit irresponsible at times. Dev Singh is a failing singer. He makes a commitment to reach billionaire status in 40 days. He must experience an emotional roller coaster of delight and anguish with his two estranged brothers, Gyanesh Kumar Yuvvraaj Singh (Anil Kapoor) and Danny Yuvvraaj Singh (Zayed Khan), whom he meets after a 12-year absence, in order to amass this fortune. When he first meets them, he is astonished to learn that his father has given the mentally handicapped Gyanesh everything. Consequently, Danny and Deven decide to con their brother out of his money. After failing in his attempt to use blackmail to force Gyanesh to lie in front of some attorneys, Danny attacks Gyanesh. In an effort to win Gyanesh over, Deven steps in, plays the nice guy, and takes him to Austria.

Gyanesh and Anushka get along well there, and she is impressed by his singing ability. He is allowed to perform with her orchestra in front of thousands of spectators. Initially envious of Anushka and Gyanesh's friendship, Deven eventually comes to adore his brother.

Danny loses his girlfriend and is now homeless and kicked out of all the exclusive clubs. He runs across Deven and Gyanesh, and they all reunite as loving brothers who put aside their differences over money. To obtain Gyanesh's money, Deven and Danny's maternal uncle and his family decide to poison him.

Gyanesh is heartbroken as they play a video of Deven and Danny discussing how to con Gyanesh out of his money. They replace his inhaler with one that contains poison and then depart. Gyanesh, who is frightened and gasping for air, uses his inhaler and engages in combat with his brothers after they realise he is aware of their scheme. When Deven appears, a distraught Gyanesh performs on stage, and they sing a duet while Deven sings a song on forgiveness. Gyanesh passes out on stage, and Deven rushes him to the hospital as Danny calls the authorities to place the family members who attempted to poison Gyanesh under custody. Deven learns at the hospital that the only accessible physician is Dr. Banton, who is uncooperative.

Deven breaks down and tells Dr. Banton that if he saves Gyanesh, he would not marry Anushka because he only wants to keep his family together. Dr. Banton accuses him of simply wanting Gyanesh to survive for the money so he can wed his daughter. Deven's sense of obligation astounds Dr. Banton, who then intervenes to save Gyanesh. As a result of Deven's transformation into a family-oriented man, he is then given permission to marry Anushka. The film's actors and crew perform a dance scene as the credits roll.
