Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli

The narrative of Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli centres on the families connected to the Swarn Bhawan house in Ujjain. Thakur Uday Pratap Singh, his wife Thakurain Chandra Prabha, their son Swarn Prakash, and their youngest daughter Swarn Abha reside in Swarn Bhawan, which has been passed down through the Thakur dynasty. Swarn Lata, their oldest child, is married and resides with her husband.

Sadly, the Thakur family incurs significant debt and is compelled to sell Swarn Bhawan. Purchased by Jagmohan. The Thakurs were forced to vacate Swarn Bhawan and move in with Raghav, Chandra's brother and the Thakur's former dewan. Under a false name, Abha becomes employed as Jagmohan's employee in Swarn Bhawan. Abha and Karan Prasad, the youngest son of Jagmohan, fall in love. Karan marries Abha. The families initially reject them but eventually warm up to them. Sanskar, Abha's ex-fiance, seeks to kill Karan but continuously fails since he is still much in love with her. Due to a misunderstanding Sanskar caused, Karan divorces Abha; but, after learning the truth, he begs for Abha's forgiveness, and they remarry. Sanskar also undergoes a moral conversion.

Ranjit, Karan's maternal uncle, has a long-standing grudge against Pratibha, Karan's mother, and intends to destroy the Prasad family as a result. He is eventually apprehended and punished thanks to Abha and Pratibha's efforts, but his other sister, Yashodhara, who is also Jagmohan's second wife, manages to escape. Yashodhara, her son Dushyant, and his wife continually pick on Pratibha because she has lost her memory and acts like a child. Abha manages to send Pratibha to a rehabilitation facility for treatment, foiling their attempts. In the meantime, Yashodhara makes an attempt to murder Karan, her stepson, in order to take over Swarn Bhawan. Karan is believed to be deceased after an accident in Mumbai.

Abha meets Sidharth, an entertainer and scriptwriter whose real name is Ranchod, who resembles Karan. Ranchod is revealed to be Karan's twin brother, whom Jagmohan gave birth to and later gave to a Mr Tiwari who was wrongfully found guilty in a case due to Jagmohan. The only people who are aware of Ranchod are Jagmohan and the nanny. For 11 days, Ranchod/Siddharth decides to assist Abha while posing as Karan, following which they head back to Mumbai. Abha conducts one final hunt for Karan. Ranchod runs upon Karan in the hospital and, fearing for his life, swears to safeguard Abha and the rest of the family from Yashodhara.

The Prasad family is preparing a lavish birthday celebration for both of their sons and is anticipating that Ranchod will be brought home by Karan and Abha. When Ranchod comes, Abha is just ready to break the bad news to the family about Karan. Abha learns that she is carrying Karan's child. Abha and Karan catch Yashodhara and Dushyant in their failed effort to murder the whole Prasad and Thakur family (Ranchod). Dushyant and his wife are taken into custody with Yashodhara. Ranchod is revealed at a religious celebration of Holi and then says that he was carrying out Karan's final desire.

Dr Arundhati discovers Karan is still alive and decides to take him home after saving him. She gives him the name Neel as Karan is crippled and unable to talk. When Shaili comes across a photo of Karan in the media, she makes the decision to keep Ranchod and Abha away from him. After realising that Karan is probably dead and under pressure from both families, Abha and Ranchod unwillingly get married. Because of Shaili and Dushyant's actions, Abha, who is still grieving over Karan's absence, falls down the stairs and loses her baby.
