Yaariyan is an Indian Hindi Language Comedy, and Romantic Drama Movie. It was produced by Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-Series. Himansh Kohli and Rakul Preet Singh are in the lead role. Actors like Evelyn Sharma, Serah Singh, Nicole Faria, Smita Jaykar, and Dev Sharma also played a remarkable role in this movie. The director as well as the leads made their Hindi film debut in this movie. Yaariyan was released on January 10, 2014, with a running time of 145 Minutes.

The Plot of Yariyaan centers around five friends from all walks of life who are sent to Australia to engage in a college competition against an Australian institution. If the Australians triumph, they will assume control of their Sikkim college.

The principal lets them in on a secret: the land where the girl's hostel is located was purchased by a wealthy Australian businessman after he struck a deal with the local king. The Australian team must now be taken on in every sporting and cultural competition if it is to be saved. Together with the intellectual girl Saloni (Rakul Preet), they establish a group and get to work on getting ready.

The squad is soon flown to Australia for the challenge, where they meet and have fun with their opponent team. Lakshya(Himansh Kholi) soon develops feelings for Jannet, a member of the Australian squad (Evelyn Sharma). The squad quickly encounters a major tragedy when they find they are not up against a fair competition as the competition gets underway.
