The first episode of the Indian television programme Woh To Hai Albelaa aired on March 14, 2022. Both Star Bharat and Disney+ Hotstar offer digital streaming of the show. Like their wives Indrani and Saroj, Balwant Sharma and Dhanraj Choudhary are neighbours and close friends. However, because of a fight between Krishna and Sayuri, their kids. The two families split up as a result of that altercation. Sayuri and Krishna have a very strong dislike for one another. Saroj believes incorrectly that Balwant simply employed Dhanraj for his business. Although Balwant disputes this, he continues to inquire about Saroj's preferences.

Sayuri is teased and detested by Krishna as well. Sayuri, the eldest daughter of Sharma, and Chiranjeev, the eldest son of Choudhary, fall in love despite the animosity between their families. They ultimately persuade their relatives to attend their wedding. Chiranjeev perishes in an accident the day of their wedding. Sayuri is denigrated by Saroj, who holds her responsible for Chiranjeev's passing and regards her as a bad omen who murdered him while claiming to be in love with him. Krishna decides to care for Sayuri going forward after remembering his promise to Chiru. Sayuri attributes Krishna's death to Chiranjeev. Sayuri is compelled by fate to wed Krishna.

The marriage of Krishna and Sayuri is thereafter the focus of the narrative. Sayuri begins to respect Krishna for his compassion. Anjali, Krishna's love interest, begins to bother him because she can't control her affections for him. As soon as their problems are resolved, Sayuri and Krishna become friends. They later develop romantic feelings for one another.
