We Are Family is a Hindi Indian Drama movie starring Kajol and Kareena Kapoor and directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra.

The film starts with Aaliya, Ankush, and Anjali, three of Maya's children who are enrolled in school and reside with her in Sydney. Maya and her husband, Aman, have been divorced. Shreya Arora, a fashion designer, is the love of Aman's life now and they intend to wed shortly. His repeated attempts to introduce her to his family fail since Maya and his kids despise her and call her "Daayan." After learning that she has cervical cancer and is not expected to live for long, Maya decides to start looking for a suitable stepmother for her children. This is when things start to shift.

The film is an Adaptation of the popular Hollywood film Stepmom. The film didn't receive any good reviews however Kajol Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor were appreciated for their performances and also received a lot of critical acclaims.

The film remade the popular song Jailhouse Rock by Elvis Presley as a tribute to his legacy.
