Typewriter is a Sujoy Ghosh-directed Indian horror drama online television series starring Purab Kohli, Palomi Ghosh, Jisshu Sengupta, and Sameer Kochhar. The series is set in Goa's Bardez municipality and centres on a haunted house and a book that piques the interest of a gang of would-be ghost hunters.

The story revolves around Sameera (Aarna Sharma), Satyajit (Mikhail Gandhi), and Devraj (Palash Kamble), who are a group of children who live in Bardez, Goa. As their first mission, the curious pals organise a ghost club and decide to hunt a ghost at an old haunted villa in their neighbourhood. Their fascination derives from an old narrative in a novel called The Ghost of Sultanpore about an old man who died. However, before the kids can find a ghost, a new family moves in, and the villa's tale resurfaces with terrifying force.

The mystery surrounding the titular typewriter, which appears to have a vendetta against anybody who try to remove it from the mansion, is central to the plot. The tale of previous inhabitants, which jumps between decades, adds to the complexity. The webseries also has themes about unexpected deaths, Sultanpore's history, and supernatural abilities.
