Thar is a Hindi Action-Thriller-Drama  movie starring Father-son duo Anil Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor and is directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary.

Siddharth Kumar, a mystery antique merchant, goes through Munabao, a lonely Rajasthani village in the Thar desert near the Pakistan border that has just been shaken by horrific deaths, in 1985. Surekha Singh, an Inspector of Munabao, is investigating these deaths when he meets Siddharth.

Thar, inspired by Western Noir genres, is set in the 1980s and tells the narrative of Siddharth, played by Harsh Vardhan Kapoor. Siddharth embarks on a journey to avenge his past after moving to Pushkar for work. Will he be successful, or does Pushkar have something else in store for him? Is what the crux of this film is all about.
