Thapki Pyar Ki is an Indian Hindi Language TV Drama. It started on 25th May 2015 and ended on 14th July 2017 with a running time of around 20-22 minutes per episode. It was aired on Colors TV under the Banner of Sol Productions and Shoonya Square Productions. Jigyasa Singh and Manish Goplani are the main leads of Thapki Pyar Ki. After getting loved by the audience the makers decided to bring its sequel Thapki Pyar Ki 2 in which Prachi Bansal and Jigyasa Singh were cast as the show's Protagonists.

The plot of the story revolves around a girl named Thapki because she stammers in her speech. Thapki, while being happy and intelligent, has a stutter, yet she never loses hope and refuses to let her speech disability get in the way of her life. Her stammer, on the other hand, stops her from obtaining marriage proposals. Finally, she marries Diwakar, who gives up Thapki on the day of their wedding, and later marries Aditi (Thapki's sister). People nicknamed her Thapki because she constantly spoke with a pat.

Thapki gets a job at a TV station owned by Dhruv Pandey, a nice and well-educated man whom she impresses. Dhruv quickly falls in love with Thapki and proposes to her. She concurs. When his mother Vasundhara learns that Thapki stutters, she disapproves of him. She instructs Bihaan, her adoptive son, to marry Thapki rather than Dhruv. Who she doesn't adore as much as Dhruv, her blood brother. Bihaan, who adored his mother and could never stand up to her, reluctantly agrees. The wedding day approaches after several fruitless tries. Vasundhara emotionally blackmails Bihaan, fully aware of his vulnerability, by threatening to kill herself if the marriage is not canceled.
