Sumit Sambhal Lega is the Hindi adaptation of the popular American Sitcom show Everybody Loves Raymond by Philip Rosenthal.

The show is directed by  Deven Bhojani, Shashant Shah, and Parmeet Sethi while the producers of the show are Tony Singh and Deeya Singh. The show centres on the life of Sumit, who resides in Delhi's Greater Kailash at D-124 with his family. Sumit is whiny and flippant, doesn't take much seriously, and cracks jokes about almost everything, no matter how uncomfortable or bad it may be. He frequently gives up duties around the house and with his children, placing them in the care of his wife. 

Sumit is frequently caught in his nefarious schemes. Despite several difficulties, Rajneesh's brother eventually weds his sweetheart and moves in with Sumit on the third floor of the house.

The show received an IMDB rating of 9.2 out of 10. The show ended with 108 episodes on the 4th of January 2016.

The series' creators intended to release a second season, but the channel refused to sponsor them because it had poor TRP performance.
