Upon moving to Mumbai as a DCP, Bajirao Singham learns that Mahesh Jadhav, a member of his team, has been found dead inside an ambulance with large bags of cash. Singham resolves to find out the truth behind it, and while doing so, he runs into Satyaraj 'Babaji' Acharya, a strong and dishonest religious figure who has close ties to dishonest politicians such as the leader of the ruling party Gurukant 'Guruji' Acharya and cabinet minister Prakash Rao. Due to Guruji's objection to Rao's plan during this time, Guruji is killed by Babaji's goons, despite Singham being present and inspiring him to swear revenge. He is forced to tell his family that he has resigned as a result of this.
Singham and Avni eventually have a romantic relationship. Then it is made clear that Singham didn't quit and travelled to Shivgarh covertly to gather proof against Babaji. Babaji begins threatening Singham's family as soon as they return to Mumbai. Rao, however, hurts every one of Guruji's nominees, including Avni, because Kishore, her brother, is one of them. Even though Singham is able to save everyone, one of Babaji's goons, Altaf Khan, awakens from a coma and accuses him in court before they can retire. Singham detains Rao and Babaji. The witnesses are killed, however, in an attack carried out by some party members outside the court. As a result, Babaji and Rao escape punishment.
They defeat the troops of Rao and Babaji. Singham's squad breaks into Babaji's home and mock-tortures Rao and Babaji by shooting live ammunition into their buttocks. Rao and Baba, who have been hurt and humiliated, confess, and their statements are covertly recorded and broadcast live on radio and television. Guruji's party wins the elections a few weeks later. Rao and Baba taunt and threaten Singham once more as they are driven to jail in a van. The van abruptly comes to a stop, and the driver exits. They both perish when a van is struck by a water tanker, sending it into a power plant. According to Inspector Dev Phadnis, one of Singham's pals, the occurrence was classified as an accident since there was a brake failure.
