Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big decide to be married after relocating to an impossible-to-beautiful New York apartment together. This choice seems pretty arbitrary. The wedding event turns out to be anything but a hurried affair; the guest list swiftly increases from 75 to 200 people, and Carrie's basic, label-free wedding dress is replaced with a huge creation that makes her appear like a huge cream puff. 

The event is supposed to take place in the New York Public Library, Miranda, the rigorous perfectionist, Charlotte, the sweet Naf, and Samantha, the sexpot, Carrie's buddies, couldn't be happier for her. But after a tragic incident, Miranda unintentionally allows her own unhappiness to ruin Carrie's and runs into Mr. Big after an argument with Steve (her boyfriend) and tells him he's foolish to get married leading him to reflect on the statement.
